Visit the edit account details screen . On that page:
- Choose a birthday.
- Choose a preferred shop (we'll make your coupon valid for that shop)
- Click Save Changes.
- Wait 'till your birthday rolls around.

It would largely be a waste of time for several reasons:
- In order to avail of a birthday coupon, the account needs to have a previous purchase on-record. Brand new accounts do not qualify.
- A small first order will cost substantial shipping fees.
- Birthday coupons have a minimum-spend requirement of $450.
- Your as your account total-lifetime-spend increases, you unlock deeper discounts in the membership tier system. By creating new accounts all the time and never upgrading tiers, you will be paying a higher price for each order.
- Think about the buy-more-save-more promo.

Sadly, no. We want your birthday to be special. Here's the limitation:
Coupon mailed out: A week before your birthday.
First day you can use the coupon: The day you receive it -- ~a week before your birthday.
Coupon expires: 2 weeks after your birthday.
In a nutshell, birthday coupons are valid for 3 weeks from issue.
You seem quite generous... but, why would you want to do that? It's your birthday!
This means: birthday coupons are only valid for the account they are issued to: you must be logged in as you to use it.
