Duromine – Phentermine, a contraction of “phenyl-tertiary-butylamine”, is a psychostimulant drug of the substituted amphetamine chemical classes, with pharmacology similar to amphetamine. It is used medically as an appetite suppressant.
Duromine is approved in Australia as an appetite suppressant and is medically prescribed as a diet pill; intended for obese patients and patients that are considered a medical risk due to weight. Duromine is a prescription that helps aid weight-loss and is designed for short-term use with a combination of exercise and a healthy diet. In the USA, phentermine is FDA approved.
The long half-life (22 hours) of Duromine makes it an ideal appetite suppressant choice with manageable side effects. Ideal dosing is 36mg once daily each morning and increasing as you get used to the effects since most users liken it to ‘legal speed’.
Duromine may be habit-forming. Never share phentermine with another person, especially someone with a history of drug abuse or addiction. Keep the medication in a place where others cannot get to it. FDA pregnancy category X. Weight loss during pregnancy can harm an unborn baby, even if you are overweight. Do not use phentermine if you are pregnant.

Bone weakness has been associated with anastrozole. Women who switched to anastrozole after two years on tamoxifen reported twice as many fractures as those who continued to take tamoxifen (2.1% compared to 1%). Bisphosphonates are sometimes prescribed to prevent the osteoporosis induced by aromatase inhibitors. The level of circulating estradiol is likely causal here and not the anastrozole itself, and so the dose will determine likelihood of osteoporosis (estradiol inhibits osteoclasts, which resorb bone).
