Methenolone Acetate\u00a0(Primobolan Acetate) is a\u00a0dihydrotestosterone\u00a0(DHT) based\u00a0anabolic steroid. Primobolan Acetate is an\u00a0ester\u00a0derivative of Methenolone\u00a0sold commonly under the brand names\u00a0Primobolan\u00a0(tablet\u00a0form) or\u00a0Primobolan Depot\u00a0(injectable). When it interacts with the aromatase\u00a0enzyme\u00a0it does not form any\u00a0estrogens. It is used by people who are very susceptible to\u00a0estrogenic\u00a0side effects, having lower\u00a0estrogenic\u00a0properties than\u00a0nandrolone.\u00a0Methenolone, in form of Enanthate\u00a0and\u00a0acetate, is available as an\u00a0injection\u00a0or as an oral formulation. The injection is regarded as having a higher\u00a0bioavailability. It is an\u00a0acetate\u00a0ester which is quite short-acting. Because it by-passes\u00a0hepatic\u00a0breakdown on the first pass, it also has a higher survival rate. The tablets are in a short-lived\u00a0acetate\u00a0form. Methenolone is not 17-alpha-alkylated, but 1-methylated for oral\u00a0bioavailability.
