Proviron (mesterolone) is an oral androgen derived from dihydrotestosterone (DHT). It is used in clinical settings to help manage certain types of male sexual dysfunction and low androgen-related symptoms.
It does not convert to estrogen and acts as a direct androgen rather than stimulating the body to produce more testosterone. In some cases, it has also been used to support sperm production in specific medical conditions.
